We started the week with a bang! Completed our read alouds and took to nature for our Nature Walk. We even took some time to stop and smell the flowers.

We also started Summer Camp at Home and learning about butterfly patterns was a hit, but making the longest caterpillar ever known to man regardless of pattern took the cake. This was one of those times that I had to remind myself to not take everything so seriously and just go with what he wanted to do.

Next up we got messy with a senosry bin themed to our Blossom and Root read aloud for the week! I love that they provide a hands on activity for interacting with the story each week.

Something really special we got to do this week was learn our colors in Spanish. I led a bilingual storytime at our library (hence there being no photos), and it went surprisingly well! We will be doing this once a month and I am excited to slowly start incorporating some Spanish instruction and immersion into our homeschool curriculum.

Did we get everything done that we had scheduled this week? No, but that's ok. We are taking our time getting back into the swing of things.
