I have been playing with the idea of starting a blog to document our homeschool journey, weighing how much of my family's life to share, and how much to just keep to ourselves, but it is so hard to find accounts of other secular homeschoolers and I need a journaling space to record the highs (and lows) of our homeschooling. So here we are! I hope you enjoy seeing our antics and adventures and that you stick around.

Just some information: we are just beginning our homeschool journey! A is 3.5 years old so we will be starting with preschool. We are a secular (non-reloigious) family and will be trying to stick to secular resources and programs as much as possible. We have decided on year round homeschooling (for now). We are homeschooling in the US in the state of SC. I am a stay at home mom and former schoolteacher. Our reasons for homeschooling include, but are not limited to, the quality of our child's education, safety, flexibility of schedule, and opportunity for a more experience-based education.
